Responsible for strategic leadership, planning, development, direction, coordination of patient care programs, and clinical support for service areas. Work in unison with CEO’s to ensure quality of care and optimum financial performance.


• Mentored and supported local executives in the successful opening of a 31-bed Behavioral Health Unit.
• Piloted joint venture of rehab hospital with a nationally-recognized rehabilitation company.
• Steered relocation of an extensive cardiology practice to hospital campus—strengthening the program and outpatient volumes.
• Performed negotiations with multiple health plans, resulting in better rates and aged Accounts Receivable.

Influenced and led team of Corporate Vice Presidents and their direct reports, as well as all C-suites, for 28 of the 45 hospitals (Division II) within Prime Healthcare.
• Championed company growth through acquisition in strategic markets by creating clusters of hospitals, facilitating efficiencies in resources, operations, and lowering cost.
• Successfully executed a strategic plan beginning in 2012, acquiring and then propelling profitable turnaround for 28 financially-distressed hospitals across 12 states in 3 regions (Northeast, Midwest, and South). Achieved profitability within (1) year of date of acquisition in multiple locations.
• Increased EBITDA from various negative values at time of acquisition to +11% EBITDA in 2019, generating net revenues over 2.2 billion.
• Leveraged potential growth opportunities and hands-on takeover of operational responsibilities for all acquisitions, performing due diligence during hospital evaluation process and creating strategies and success models for all acquisitions.
• Elevated revenues for Division II through growth, acquisition, and strategic management.
